Founder’s story
Inspiration behind Diya4kids
Dipali grew up in a community discriminating against girls in terms of education and empowerment.
This challenged Dipali and made her determined to succeed.
Losing Overcoming hardships, Dipali established herself with a career in Finance and Computer Science while supporting her family.
Currently she is a successful CEO and co-founder of multiple companies.
In spite of all her success, Dipali did not forget her roots and the discrimination she faced.
She started her initiative, Diya4kids, with a supportive partner for life, Praveen, who himself is a successful technical entrepreneur and passionate to support this mission.
Through Diya4kids, Dipali aims to empower young girls by providing education and healthcare in underprivileged areas, inspired by her own journey.
Dipali remains committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children through Diya4kids, while managing a thriving career and as a dedicated mother to two beautiful girls, Diya and Tanya.
Origin of the name
Diya4kids- the name itself makes a profound statement!
Diya in the Indian language of Hindi, means light or lamp.
The organization was started with the hope to bring light.
Lighting up the world at once might be challenging but lighting up one lamp at a time, one child at a time, shining light in the corner of each and every home!
Our Mission
“Save One Life, Save the Entire World (Including Yourself)”
Our main mission at Diya4kids is to reduce barriers to a child's wellbeing and education.
Barriers include Poverty, Gender Inequality, Exploitation, Disability, and Lack of Basic Necessities. Diya4kids, guided by its founder Dipali's vision, aims to positively impact the lives of underprivileged rural children.
Create a dedicated platform and a community helping transform lives as a lighted lamp – Diya – in the lives of children. Especially young girls as their lives darkened by gender bias, financial and social constraints.
Diya4kids is to operate as a beacon of hope focused on education, nutrition, and empowering women to illuminate one life at a time. Raising awareness for girl’s education and nutrition, and supporting schools and rural communities, with empowering women as the crux of the initiative.
Since its creation, Diya4kids has dedicated all the donations received 100% to those carefully chosen charities, struggling schools and rural communities evaluated by the team.
At Diya4kids, our aim is to empower young children, especially girls, emphasizing the value of self, education, health, and nutrition.
Through meticulously planned educational programs, our main goals are to empower these young children, fostering gender equality, and nurturing an empowered mindset.
This can help them have a hope for future and shape them transform into a formidable force of talent and opportunity for the future.
Our Goal
Diya4kids strives to provide comprehensive support ensuring every child, especially girls, has access to quality services including education, healthcare, nutrition, safe drinking water, social protection, and awareness of sustainable living opportunities in the rural villages in India.
