At Diya4Kids, we hold that every girl should have something to dream about and the means to make those dreams real.Education, medical help and emotional assistance are still unreachable for many underserved young girls. Our targeted empowerment programs are helping Diya4Kids work to recover the spirit of children one life at a time.
In numerous places, young girls forcefully experience tremendous difficulties because they are girls. Many of them begin marriage early, have few learning opportunities, face society’s traditional roles and struggle with poverty, giving them few chances for success.
Diya4Kids believes strongly that empowering a girl benefits her and lifts up her family and community. Get an Education First We begin our path with learning. Diya4Kids offers free learning to underprivileged kids, placing special emphasis on helping girls attend and stay in a school setting. We realize that education for girls helps them become confident, think deeply and decide properly about things they face in life.
Think about Areeba, who at 10 years old was eager to learn but couldn’t afford school supplies or the money needed for school. Thanks to the program, Areeba began going to school and was given books, uniforms and food every day. Currently, she hopes to be a doctor and boldly explains how being educated has changed her life. She is both a respected class leader and a mentor to girls in her community today.
Your Nutrition Helps You Feel Better About Yourself When you’re not hungry, you can concentrate better. All girls in our program enjoy daily healthy meals at school. It influences both their attendance and their work in the classroom. Before, many children stayed home from school because they were tired or felt hungry, but with the meals, they attend more and their results have gone up.
Assistance and care given by mentors Diya4Kids also gives children mentorship and gives them emotional support in addition to education and food. We cover leadership, self-esteem, health education and future planning during our empowerment sessions. Students realize that their voices matter and they have the chance to aspire to goals that aren’t limited to traditions. Really Big Changes, Really Lasting Results People often think empowerment is vague, but you can really measure its effects. In the areas we have worked,
Diya4Kids has resulted in a 60% increase in female school participation and a noticeable decline in dropout rates. These young girls are also speaking out and inspiring others at home and in their neighborhoods to make positive changes. They help their brothers and sisters learn, help take care of their parents and start challenging the rules that stopped women from achieving their dreams.
A Reason to Believe When you give to Diya4Kids, you are helping to make dreams real for so many girls. You’re contributing to making education, equality and empowerment available to people for longer than just your current generation. We should unite to create chances for all girls to study, thrive and lead.
So it’s important to advocate for girls, as it benefits all of us. To help our programs or sponsor a child, please go to www.diya4kids.org
